Liz Smith is a freelance editor, proofreader, indexer, typesetter, eBook specialist, and sermon transcriptionist who is passionate about helping others publish works that edify the body of Christ and glorify God. Created to assist and encourage pastors and other Christian authors in their publishing efforts, InkSmith Editorial Services is part of Liz’s commitment to honor God with her talents and time.

After thirteen years in project management at IBM and ten helping to run the family business, Liz transitioned to her current passion as freelancer and owner of InkSmith, where she is adamant about promoting God’s authoritative Word. She is a Gold member of The Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network and a member in good standing of the Christian Editor Connection, the Editorial Freelancers Association, the American Copy Editors Society, and the American Society for Indexers.

Liz and her husband, Rick, reside in Mebane, North Carolina. They have been blessed with nine children, two sons-in-law, and two granddaughters. As a homeschooling mom, Liz has graduated five students, with four in progress. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, journal writing, and reading Christian biographies.
